TOUR NO.4 (distance: 130km)

The excursion starts from Argostoli, the capital of the island, early in the morning. We are heading for the magnificent lake of Melissani. It is one of the most famous underground lakes in the world that opened its doors for the first time in 1963.Scientists discovered that the water of the lake travels from Katavothres (Argostoli) and ends in the lake. You will be enchanted by the beautiful turquoise waters.

The cave of Drogarati is next. The cave was discovered about 300 years ago and opened in 1963. It was discovered after a devastating earthquake that resulted in the entrance of the cave being brought to the surface. You will be impressed by the formations of stalactites and stalagmites that predominantly… they take your breath away!

Then the picturesque village of Agia Efimia awaits you for a short visit to Karavomylos. There you will see the mill where it brings the waters underground from Argostoli.We continue to the special village of Fiskardo. It is one of the best known places of the island, especially for those who have boats due to its natural marina. It is an area with taverns and restaurants with delicious Greek food that you will love! In case you want to swim you will not be disappointed at all as it has crystal clear waters and wonderful bays.

Then as we return we stop to the picturesque village of Assos. A walk between the colorful houses, narrow alleys and by the sea will surely impress you. At the top of the village there is the castle of Assos that gives great imposing view. On the way back, we will stop at the viewpoint of the famous beach of Myrtos for enchanting photos!
